Hello and welcome. Whether you're new to therapy or returning to it, I walk alongside you as a supportive ally, meeting you where you are with curiosity and care. Together, we make space for experiences while working toward recovery, deeper self-understanding, and meaningful change. As a racialized therapist with an intersectional lens, I offer a warm, steady, and collaborative space where all parts of your experience are welcome.
You may find yourself here because you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in familiar patterns, or carrying experiences that continue to affect your relationships, emotions, or sense of self. Together, we'll approach these experiences with curiosity and care, exploring the patterns that no longer serve you while building on the strengths that have helped you get this far.
My work helps you understand how your nervous system has adapted to your experiences and how those adaptations continue to shape your emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Through greater awareness and integration, many people find themselves reconnecting with who they are. Through body-centred, trauma-informed therapy, we work toward meaningful change.
My approach integrates:
Sometimes our bodies hold onto experiences even when our minds understand them. Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that uses your gaze to access experiences held in the nervous system that may be difficult to reach through words alone. Through curiosity, attunement, and compassion, it supports the processing and release of trauma, emotional pain, and other overwhelming experiences.
EMDR is a structured, trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain process distressing memories and/or emotions. Our work includes attunement with the therapist, along with preparation, resourcing, and stabilization to build internal “guardrails” before processing. This helps support safety, regulation, and integration as emotional intensity decreases and healing unfolds.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a parts-based therapy that helps you explore, understand and relate to different parts of yourself with curiosity. Through a compassionate, non-judgmental relationship with these parts, you can build self-leadership and internal safety.
Lifespan Integration (LI) is a gentle, body-based therapy that uses a timeline of experiences to help the nervous system connect and organize the past, process trauma and attachment wounds, and foster a more coherent sense of self.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I bring a blend of professional experience and deep human connection to every person I work with. Before entering private practice, I dedicated 15 years in public education, public health, and frontline mental health and substance use services. These experiences provided a strong foundation for my counselling work, shaping my compassionate, well-rounded approach to supporting individuals.
I find joy in movement through rock climbing and paddling, being in nature, and sharing laughter with friends and my family. As a parent, I cherish watching joy light up through moments of play and connection. These experiences remind me of the importance of connection—to ourselves, to others, and to what really matters.
A therapeutic relationship is the foundation for effective therapy. You’re welcome to book a 15-minute consultation to explore whether we might be a good fit. Following our consultation, if it feels like a good fit for you, we can schedule your first session from there.
